STEIGENTECH launches V-belt for higher performance, POWERPLUS™ EPDM CRE at Hanover

Downtime is lost time and money, and the STEIGENTECH POWERPLUS™ EPDM CRE V-belt range has been designed to keep HVAC equipment, compressors, fans and ventilators or tool machines running. Because of their technically-advanced material and design construction, these belts can be installed easily for smooth running, with no need for re-tensioning. As a result, machine uptime is maximised, and maintenance & service time is minimised.

The STEIGENTECH POWERPLUS™ EPDM CRE V-belt is a high-performance cogged raw edge product (CRE) that incorporates high tensile cord to ensure improved energy efficiency and drive performance. The advanced Vbelt with maintenance-free operation allows installation without re-tensioning, reducing downtime and replacement costs. With lower tension decay, minimal stretch and high flex capability, the STEIGENTECH POWERPLUS™ EPDM CRE V-Belt is ideal for systems with compact designs.

STEIGENTECH works consistently with extremely tight manufacturing tolerances across the entire range. This ensures that customers can confidently select any STEIGENTECH POWERPLUS™ EPDM CRE V-belt from stock and be sure that no matching is required. This means that maximum load transmission is ensured across the application, with worry-free ‘fit & forget’ installation.

The STEIGENTECH POWERPLUS™ EPDM CRE V-belt is manufactured to the highest international manufacturing and quality standards available (DIN 7753, ISO 4148, RMA IP-22). Due to their advanced materials, construction and robust design, the belts can operate under a broad range of temperatures (-40 °C and +130̊ °C) with no cracking, damage or degradation. They perform consistently well in extreme high-to-low ambient operating temperatures, making them ideal for high speed operations and varying climate conditions. In addition, they can deal with even the harshest environments, including those where ozone, UV and chemicals are used.

The STEIGENTECH POWERPLUS™ EPDFM CRE V-belt is electrically conductive in accordance with ISO 1813 and meets the RoHs and REACH requirements.
